- CAS: 10034-99-8 (Heptahydrate), 7487-88-9 (Anhydrous)
- Character: Heptahydrate is colorless prismatic or needle-shaped crystal. Anhydrous is white crystalline powder or powder. It's odorless, tastes bitter and salty. It is freely soluble in water(119.8%,20ºC) and glycerin, slightly soluble in ethanol. The agueous solution is neutral.
- Usage: In food industry, it is used as nutritional fortifier (Magnesium fortifier), solidification, flavor agent, process aid and brew additive. It is used as nutritional source to improve ferment and thetaste of synthesizes saka (0.002%). It also could modify water hardness.
- Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
- Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.

Application
In light industry, it is used to produce fresh yeast, monosodium glutamate, beverage, mineral water, health salt, sea crystal and calcium hydrogen phosphate stabilizer in toothpaste production.
In food additives, it is used as nutrition supplement, curing agent, flavor enhancer and processing aid;
